Winding of cells: critical process for cylindrical cell assembly

Focused on improving critical processes, Huguet Battery Processes began developing winding equipment in 2019. We have proven capability in winding complex materials with uneven mechanical properties or low mechanical strength.

Our objective is to integrate additional process steps before and after winding within the same piece of equipment. This approach increases automation, ensures consistent product quality, and reduces the overall footprint of the assembly line. Our range covers a variety of formats, with or without tabs.

Electrolyte filling: critical process for your R&D prototyping, pilot line and industrial deployment

Beyond the traditional challenges of electrolyte filling such as corrosivity, ATEX-related risks, and handling hazards the process now faces additional challenges:

  • Extreme cell designs with tighter dimensions
  • New electrolytes requiring specific process parameters
  • Semi-solid cells

These examples highlight the need for continuous innovation in electrolyte filling. Huguet Battery Processes aims to introduce a complete range of equipment to address both existing and emerging aspects of this critical process.
