For R&D, pilot projects
to industrial deployment
Cell assembly
For standard lithium-ion cells, supercapacitors, and advanced chemistries, including solid-state batteries (SSB) using lithium metal, sulfides, or polymers. All major formats based on winding or stacking processes are available: cylindrical, prismatic, and pouch.
R&D prototyping, pilot lines and scalable production.
Module and pack assembly
The modular platforms developed by HUGUET BATTERY PROCESSES are suitable for most modules and packs from small modules (e-bikes, household appliances, etc.) to large packs (heavy vehicles, stationary storage). The versatility of our lines allows the production of multiple products without reconfiguration or line interruption.

Stacked cells : High versatility prototyping unit
for Li-ion standard cells and solid state batteries
Designed to meet the evolving demands of battery innovation, this high-versatility prototyping unit enables the development and assembly of both conventional lithium-ion cells and next-generation solid-state batteries.
Engineered for flexibility and precision, the system supports a wide range of functionalities and chemistries.
Our modular platform can be upgraded by adding additional functionalities to the main unit, plugging in extra modules, or integrating third‑party equipment when required
Cylindrical cell winding
From 18650 to the largest tabless formats
Focused on improving critical processes, Huguet Battery Processes began developing winding equipment in 2019. We have proven capability in winding complex materials with uneven mechanical properties or low mechanical strength.
Our objective is to integrate additional process steps before and after winding within the same piece of equipment. This approach increases automation, ensures consistent product quality, and reduces the overall footprint of the assembly line. Our range covers a variety of formats, with or without tabs.
Electrolyte filling stations
for Li-ion standard cells and solid state batteries
Beyond the traditional challenges of electrolyte filling — such as corrosivity, ATEX-related risks, and handling hazards — the process now faces additional challenges:
- Extreme cell designs with tighter dimensions
- New electrolytes requiring specific process parameters
- Semi-solid cells
These examples highlight the need for continuous innovation in electrolyte filling. Huguet Battery Processes aims to introduce a complete range of equipment to address both existing and emerging aspects of this critical process.
Module and pack assembly
